Luzier Cosmetics sales kit, circa 1930-1939 [realia]

Leather-backed Luzier Cosmetics traveling sales kit with three-snap closure and cotton cord handles. Interior of striped, woven fabric with leather fastenings. Closed dimensions: 28 x 17.5 x 5.5 cm. Kit contains eleven glass jars and bottles with metal lids and paper labels (some labels missing). Cosmetics in the kit include rouge compact with mirror, facial creams and powders, Bornacein products, tooth powder, and eye treatments. Also present are change of address cards and a small plastic spatula. Acquired as part of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History.
